Guidelines for Schools (LP / UP / HS)
General Requirements
- The establishment year should be before 01-01-2006
- In case of LP, UP/ME, HIgh School, Higher Secondary School and the name of the school should figure in the DISE code of 2009-10.
- Enrolment for High School and Higher Secondary means number of admit cards issued.
- In case of change of DISE/UDISE code, same should be correctly mentioned.
- There should be appropriate/relevant documents/certificate etc. for “class” permission.
- The institution should indicate land ownership or appropriate land possession certificate from competent authority/ies in case of government/ private, forest and Tea garden land or any other type of land
- All schools must provide their student enrollment numbers and other information correctly for last 4 years.
- The staff details as per the format must be correctly filled up and submitted.
Guidelines for Senior Secondary/Degree College
General Requirements
- The establishment year should be before 01-01-2006.
- Enrolment for Sr. Secondary and Colleges means number of admit cards issued.
- There should be appropriate Permission / Affiliation / Concurrence / NOC for stream and department for Senior Secondary Schools
- The Senior Secondary or Degree College need to submit necessary permission, affiliation details from education Boards/Universities of Assam.
- All venture Degree Colleges must mention the stream/s and deparments under the particular mentioned stream/s correctly.
- In case of Sr. Secondary and Colleges, if a particular stream is not yet provincialised, then the institution will be able to give data of that particular stream also
- The institution should have appropriate land possession certificate from competent authority in case of private, forest and Government land
- The minimum enrolment should be Minimum 25 in Class XII and Minimum 20 in sixth schedule areas
- The institutions shall have a minimum pass percentage of 30% for students who enrolled in the final examination over the last 4 academic years. In respect of institutions located in Sixth Schedule areas, the minimum required pass percentage shall be 20% for the said period
